Indian Almond Leaves

Indian almond leaves are rich in tannins and are known for their antibacterial and anti fungal properties.
These leaves lower the pH of water and also aids in providing a natural environment for Bettas, Shrimp, Apistogrammas, Discus, Tetras and catfish to name a few.
When indian almond leaves break down it creates the perfect environment for micro organsims to colonise providing a perfect source of food like infusoria for fry. Biofilm forming on leaves also provide the perfect natural source of food for shrimp.
